Return Policies

  • Returns are for store credit only.
  • Returns may be made up to 30 days of the order date, and are subject to a 20% restocking charge.
  • Before returning a product, you must call or e-mail for a Return Authorization Number
  • The return authorization number must be printed on the outside of the box.
  • A copy of the original invoice must be included with a note describing the reason for the return.
  • All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. COD or freight collect returns will not be accepted.
  • Pack the item in its original packaging with all instructions, warranty cards, and any attachments. All parts must be complete, uninstalled, and undamaged. Disassembled, damaged, previously installed, and custom parts cannot be returned.
  • LongParts.com has no responsibility in the diagnosis or troubleshooting of a problem. the responsibility of ordering the correct part remains with the customer and his technician.
  • All returns decisions will be made solely at the discretion of LongParts.com.

Warranty Policies

  • Parts are guaranteed by LongParts.com to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. Warranty does not cover defects caused by abuse, mishandling, accident, improper installation or application, the malfunction of another component or part of any device in which the products installed or with which the product interfaces, or extend to products which have been modified or repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer.
  • LongParts.comís liability due to a defective part is limited only to the shipment of a replacement part. We will not be responsible for labor costs, downtime, freight costs, or any other associated costs, for any reason.
  • Before returning a product, you must call or e-mail for a Return Authorization Number
  • Exchanges for parts that become faulty prior to the end of the guarantee period must be shipped to LongParts.com at the customerís expense. If we find the part to be defective, we will issue a store credit to the customer for the cost of shipping. The replacement will be shipped at LongParts.comís expense.
  • This Warranty Does Not Cover Replacement of Wear or Maintenance Items

      (unless defective) Including, But NOT Limited To:

    • clutch and brake linings
    • filters (air, fuel, oil)
    • light bulbs
    • belts
    • cutting blades
    • bucket teeth
    • injector nozzles
    • spark plugs
    • lubricants & coolants (unless used during an authorized repair)
  • All warranty coverage and interpretation of policy will be made solely at the discretion of LongParts.com.

Shipping Charges

Shipping rates are an estimate. The sites estimated cost is based on the expected weight of the package, and may not always take dimensional weight into consideration. Actual charges cannot be determined until the full order is packed and weighed.
Some large items must be sent by motor freight and will be billed at actual cost from the carrier, and not at the sites estimated cost. You will be contacted with a quote prior to shipping. Any shipping promotions are valid in the continental U.S. only.

Shipping to destinations in the United States

Our best effort has been put into making the sites estimated cost as accurate as possible, and the likelyhood of additional shipping charges being required is low. You will be contacted should there be any difference in shipping charges from the sites estimated cost.
The sites estimated shipping cost is for the lower 48 states only. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will cost more under most circumstances, and you will be contacted with a quote prior to shipping.

Shipping to destinations in Canada

About half of Canadian postal code ranges will incur additional shipping charges. Shipping rates may increase up to 50% over the sites estimated cost, but the average is around 30%.
The reason this occurs is because we do not want to overcharge the large amount of Canadian postal codes which will not incur additional charges, and the rate is based on the zone for those locations.
Any difference in shipping charges will be charged to the offered credit card automatically when your items ship. If you do not wish this to occur, please tell us so in the comments section and will will contact you with the final cost before your items ship. If you do not leave a comment, and the actual shipping cost is above 1.5 times the sites estimated cost, we will contact you with a shipping quote.
You will still be responsible for any applicable customs and duty charges assessed by UPS and the provincial government, as they are not included in the shipping rate.

Ontario and Quebec may see additional charges with an average increase of 28%.
Alberta and British Columbia may see additional charges with an average increase of 35%.
All remaining provinces will see additional charges, with an average increase of 28%.

UPS standard service is not available to Nunavut, Yukon, or the Northwest Territories.
These locations require UPS Worldwide Saver service, and will cost up to 5 times the rate shown. You will be contacted with a quote prior to shipping. Additional shipping options may be available.
